In our first installment of 'Let Them Eat Weeds' we will work with dandelions In this 3 hour class, we will create: - a dandelion tea -dandelion stem spaghetti (with homemade pasta sauce) -dandelion flower fritters -and dandelion root tea ice cream. I may suggest alternatives, like a syrup, based on the class vibes (this will all be detailed in an email beforehand for consensus) You'll receive an empty notebook to write down the recipes so you can use it again at home and all supplies will be provided for you so come as you are (comfy clothing suggested, we love to create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere here at Mossy Birch Homestead) As we are creating and sampling, we will discuss how to better utilize this "weed" that grows everywhere and the benefits of using the plant from root to flower. All items made will be portioned out to the class to take home. I'm excited to create with you and embrace the amazing food at our feet in this class. **For sign up- a minimum of 6 students are required to run the class**
