🌿 Let Them Eat Weeds: Stinging Nettle🌿 In the second installment of the 'Let Them Eat Weeds' classes- we are putting two wild powerhouses in the spotlight: Stinging Nettle and Lamb’s Quarter! (I've even posted a teaser photo of what your plate can look like with adding some wild greens in it!) On the Menu: Wild Green Pancakes: featuring the beautiful Stinging Nettle. And- we’re perfecting a special topping to pair with our pancakes (stay tuned!). Pumpkin Seed Stinging Nettle Pesto: A vibrant, nut-free twist on a classic spread. Great to use as a dip! Stinging Nettle Tea: Warm, earthy, and packed with vitamins. This tea will be blended with other herbs for you to take home. You'll receive an empty notebook to write down the recipes so you can use it again at home and all supplies will be provided for you so come as you are (comfy clothing suggested, we love to create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere here at Mossy Birch Homestead) As we are creating and sampling, we will discuss how to better utilize this "weed" that grows everywhere and the benefits of using the plant, including the seeds. All items made will be portioned out to the class to take home. I'm excited to create with you and embrace the amazing food at our feet in this class. **For sign up- a minimum of 4 students are required to run the class**
